The US government seeks several thousand volunteers to test a swine flu shot!

Swine Flu is expected to peak during October. In an effort to get the swine flu vaccine ready in time, the US Govt is rushing for clinical trials of the flu and volunteers are being saught. The biggest risk here from the perspective of a healthcare consumer is that the credibility of a vaccine that is developed in 2 weeks and test over 6 weeks is questionable. Notable health care specialists believe that the vaccine is being developed and tested in a 'compressed timeframe'. Since the vaccine will be administered to millions of Americans, ensuring its safety and side effects should be paramount.
